This year’s Geneva Motor Show was one of optimism. In many press conferences you could hear CEOs and presidents exclaim that sales had risen for consecutive months or that their expectation for 2014 is that consumers will buy new vehicles. The confidence is starting to return and order intake exceeds expectations. However, the careful reader should not forget where the European region is coming from. The latest partners offering BMW-approved Apps include Deezer (subscription music service), Napster by Rhapsody (subscription music service), TuneIn (Internet radio), Audible (downloadable audio books and other spoken-word content) and Glympse (temporary location sharing in real-time). BMW is participating in one of this year’s highlights of the international art scene: Art Basel. This event will take place from June 13 to 16, 2013, when the premier art fair for modern and contemporary art will open its doors in Basel.
More than 300 galleries from all over the world will exhibit at Art Basel, showcasing works of more than 4,000 renowned artists as well as promising new talents.
